The past few mornings, I've been hearing a clear, whistle-type song. Not sure if it's a warbler, or other.
It has two parts, first part is three notes, descending, repeated once , followed by two notes, ascending, if I recall, also repeated once, for a cadence like:
1-2-3, 1-2-3, 5-4, 5-4 or similar.
There is no buzzy quality, or trilling, or other, just clear tones.
We've had some storms blow up the coast this week, so could be a vagrant.
Location is near Kennebunkport, Your County, Maine, USA.
Thanks for any direction you an give me.
