Merlin Sound ID issue (1 Viewer)

A few weeks ago, Merlin Sound ID began to automatically give me an error message about only having a certain percentage of likely birds in my area recorded (please see attached screenshot for exact message). The message appears even with the most common bird sounds, all of which worked before. It doesn't matter whether I have a great cell signal or a bad one. Other people I bird with use Sound ID successfully in the same places. I have reinstalled the app and bird packs twice. My phone has all the permissions for Merlin activated (microphone, etc) and Merlin Picture ID works fine. I' m using a Samsung Galaxy A25 and it worked before. Would appreciate any suggestions!

I have been using Merlin for awhile mainly to see if it ever gets better. I had foot surgery stuck at home and spent many days out on the deck this year with my bird list and Merlin on my phone propped up on an old telegraph glass insulator. Nearly every day it said there was an Eastern Meadowlark and sometimes Northern Mockingbird neither species were ever here as we live in the trees, tall ones also. A Starling was doing the alarm call of the meadowlark and rarely the song of the Meadowlark. Oddly also often Mockingbird and I do not know why unless it heard the breeding Red-shouldered Hawks which Merlin has called them before and also Pileated Woodpecker-which is now breeding locally. Is there anywhere to report Merlin errors?

I enjoyed a Raven call given a few times as Hooded Merganser today interspersed with Raven being given correctly for other calls (California, USA).

All the best

Paul
