Marsh or Willow Tit? (2 Viewers)

Aah! It's all coming together... the Thatcher name in Herts can only mean one thing (in bird terms)... Roy... which brings us to a guy called Barry who rings in Roydon (which is in Essex) and the fact that the staff of the RSPB reserve at Rye House (bar one) wouldn't know a willow tit if bit them on the b******s. And that's my last word Victoria.

Yes most of the above is correct - however
Barry who rings in Roydon (which is in Essex)
rings at Rye House now which is in fact Herts!
Do you know the above mentioned?
By the fact that you know my name as Victoria (which only my father uses when he has the hump with me lol) - this leads me to believe we know you - would you care to enlighten me please? :h?:
Either on here or Email me!

Absolutely nothing! no connection whatsoever Lucky Birder - However!!
it is more like a debate on wether there are Willow Tits in Hertfordshire and who would be able to identify them IF there is or isnt any!!
And it also seems like it is a identification of people for which I am sorry for!

Incidently, how did he check it so quickly, was it from the same ringing group?

Yes - I mentioned it was a re-trap and he had the schedules from last year close to hand.

lol they are courting at the moment
I have another Question - if a tape recording of a marsh or willow tit calling was played using the certain call either one makes are these birds territorial enough to come and investigate? o:)

Excellent if that works it will solve everything! o:)
Thanks for you help will post the result when I find a tape that is :bounce:

Most definately my beloved brother will get dearest one to check the Video this weekend - like I have tried to get him and other members of my family to do soooo many times before - but alas I gave up and came and asked on here!! ;)
I will also bring a tape back because I am sure there is one there!
