Aah! It's all coming together... the Thatcher name in Herts can only mean one thing (in bird terms)... Roy... which brings us to a guy called Barry who rings in Roydon (which is in Essex) and the fact that the staff of the RSPB reserve at Rye House (bar one) wouldn't know a willow tit if bit them on the b******s. And that's my last word Victoria.

Yes most of the above is correct - however

rings at Rye House now which is in fact Herts!

Absolutely nothing! no connection whatsoever Lucky Birder - However!!
it is more like a debate on wether there are Willow Tits in Hertfordshire and who would be able to identify them IF there is or isnt any!!
And it also seems like it is a identification of people for which I am sorry for!

I have another Question - if a tape recording of a marsh or willow tit calling was played using the certain call either one makes are these birds territorial enough to come and investigate? o

Most definately my beloved brother will get dearest one to check the Video this weekend - like I have tried to get him and other members of my family to do soooo many times before - but alas I gave up and came and asked on here!!
I will also bring a tape back because I am sure there is one there!
