Kia Ora! I live in Pōneke (Wellington) in Aotearoa New Zealand. I’ve always loved observing birds but have never looked into birdwatching communities or the techniques of others before now. My brother gifted me some great binoculars for Christmas so I’m looking forward to learning more. I’m going to document and sketch local birds this summer. I live right next to a sanctuary for native birds so there are no end of beautiful subjects on my back yard daily. I’m so glad this community exists! Thank you for listening!
