ID wanted, juvenile moorhen or water rail? (1 Viewer)

Spotted today, came out of hedgerow into canal. Cant decide what it is. There were two of them.

Ditto to Moorhen. Young Water Rails have a longer, slenderer bill, and are (to be honest!) very scruffy things at the same sort of age 3:)
