Still waiting for mine. I rang Birdguides about it last week. They promised to look into it and get back to me, but I've heard nowt yet. What a shambles.

I am having significant problems with the Princeton ereader app, error messages which their tech support people have been unable to solve for a tablet version, and total refusal to show the book on two phones I have tried.
It works on my iPads for me, but not my Android phone - I have left it with them, but will probably chase up again soon.

I also requested that they introduce a fit to page setting for portrait mode, where the width of the page auto fits - works fine in landscape, but I’d prefer to have my tablet (and phone when it works) in portrait mode.

Are you on Android or iOS?

Yep, sounding familiar - still waiting for mine and a delayed reply to an email was that they would look into it and get back to me but I also have heard nothing since...

Still no books from Birdguides for me and no promised emails of news as to what's not going on from them either, but interestingly the NHBS website said they were out of stock this morning but this afternoon says In stock, so new shipments from the printers are coming through, for NHBS at least...

Four weeks and a day since I ordered and still no books, faulty or not. Four emails to Birdguides have produced no useful info, and a phone call just now the same - they will get back to me. I am going to cancel and ask for an immediate refund if they don't come back with anything concrete by tomorrow,

Given that NHBS have obviously just received a new shipment today, I'm going to give BG a few more days, but it is the lack of apology and explanation that is almost more annoying than the lack of the books. And I do wonder about how long they would take to issue a refund. Would they say 'oh, your order is in the pipeline, we'll check and get back to you'?

I wonder if stocks are low hence the delays, you would expect it's a popular set of books.

Mine came direct from publishers John Wiley & Sons, or so the paperwork says.

Because when the launch came Birdguides appeared to be well on the ball with this title, as well as offering a good price, and so, foolishly it turns out, I paid in advance.
Ditto

Well, if the publishers are having to reprint the title I hope it won't be a rushed job in which quality control over the colour and other things is sacrificed.

Fair enough, I've wanted this since I first knew about it, but couldn't realistically spare the cash until now. I ordered it earlier this evening for delivery tomorrow (hopefully that's what happens, and hopefully it isn't a naf copy!!). Last couple of books I got on pre-order were the Bees of Sussex and Dragonflies of Sussex (both highly recommended!).
