Two pairs. The Swarovski Swarovision 8x32 SV and the 10x50 SV.
Beth, what would your second likely be and why? Even smaller and lighter? My post from 2013 lists 5 binos ... jeez.
I have just 1 now; Nikon MHG 8x30
I plan to buy one more binocular eventually.
No, I don't want to go smaller than 30mm.Beth, what would your second likely be and why? Even smaller and lighter?

I have a dozen or so binoculars with the Nikon 8x30 E2 smallest, so perhaps we have a similar size threshhold. No, I don't want to go smaller than 30mm.
I'd like a 8x32 for a little more comfort with eyeglasses, but I don't feel too excited about anything out there now.
I'd like to stay around the 1k price range. I'd prefer 8x32, but it's possible I may end up with another 8x30.
I hope to see a few interesting new bins come out in the next year or two. I hope the wait isn't too long.
What's so good about the Aurora's..... just interested, you obviously really rate them.Zeiss 8x25 which I adore, and Opticron Aurora 8x42 which I would never, ever sell as I know without doubt I'd have instant seller's remorse.
Oh and back up is still my well travelled Sightron blue sky 8x32 for emergencies
