Hey All! Herons brought me here (1 Viewer)

Hello. I’m from Memphis, TN in the middle of the Mississippi Flyway which has helped pique my interest in birds.

wanted to post a video of the bird performing its mating call with sound, but it says too large to post.

Recently, at my apartment I noticed 2 pairs of Yellow Crowned Night Herons building my nests in the trees above me. I’m used to seeing Blue Herons on a daily basis, but I had never seen a night heron. I’ve been observing every day and they will be hatching eggs within the next month.

It is storming with high winds right now so wish them well. If there is a good thread for videos let me know.
