Hi again Andy,
you have put your finger on a sore spot:
I think many of the Israeli birds on gull-research.org could do with a thorough discussion among all of the website moderators...

You know what, I guessed as much! I've revisted those links a few times and scratched my head. Very, very difficult to be sure of the identity of any of those gulls.
