Hello! A few weeks ago, Merlin Sound ID began to automatically give me an error message about only having a certain percentage of likely birds in my area recorded (please see attached screenshot for exact message). The message appears even with the most common bird sounds, all of which worked before. It doesn't matter whether I have a great cell signal or a bad one. Other people I bird with use Sound ID successfully in the same places. I have reinstalled the app and bird packs twice. My phone has all the permissions for Merlin activated (microphone, etc) and Picture ID works fine. I' m using a Samsung Galaxy A25 and it worked before. Has anyone had this problem?

Not had that problem myself, but wondered if there were a lot of birds in the area and it was struggling to identify a specific bird with all the other sounds going on, the message seems to point to that, however, if it works for others in the same area, then in theory it should for you too, hmm very confusing!

Hi VivanO and a warm welcome to you from all the Staff and Moderators. I'm so glad to hear that you've finally got your problem sorted. These App messages can be very confusing sometimes I find.

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I look forward to hearing your news.
