Hello - I have put a bird box in our garden a few years ago but never had any birds nesting. We’ve had birds interested a few times around our property looking for the ideal location and this evening had one fly into our kitchen which I managed to safely return outside. Anyone know what this breed of bird is?

Hi RedSMED and a warm welcome to you from all the Staff and Moderators. I can't quite make out what that is, so I've moved your post to the ID forum. It would help them probably, if you could say whereabouts you are and what the surrounding habitat is like.

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I look forward to hearing your news.

Hello,

welcome to Birdforum from me too!

Presuming its from Britain, its either a Chiffchaff or a Willow Warbler.
Primary projection is difficult to judge for me , but it seems long, favouring Willow Warbler.
The flight picture seems to show the right yellow underparts, shade is very good, ID-book like for a Willow Warbler. Yes, this is easy within variation for a Chiffchaff. Do you have more pictures?
