Hello. I live in Bolton and have watched the number of gulls increase in my area in their search for food. (1 Viewer)

I saw gulls today with pigeons eating scraps left by someone on a car park. I walk through the town quite often and have noticed a couple of places where food is left. They seem to have adapted to an urban life.

Hi JTO'N and a warm welcome to you from all the Staff and Moderators. Round here the gulls wait for the kids to walk back to school after going to the take-aways for their curry and chips. They hardly seem to eat any before throwing the trays down spilling the remains all over the pavement. The gulls are straight in!!!

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I look forward to hearing your news.

They used to come to my school playground in Little Hulton (1980’s) after the dinner break. Also a few Common Gull, Herring and occasionally Lesser Black backed. The timing always impressed me as a kid.
