Hello everybody, this is my first attempt at joining a Forum and judging from what has been posted I am very impressed with Bird Forum. Thats the creaping bit over.
I live in Berkshire and am surrounded by many country parks and open country side, my interest in wild life has been with me from childhood but have never made it a serious hobby but I seam to be favouring bird watching.
From my 13th floor office in Croydon I often see Peregrine Falcons terrorising the local pigeons. Until recently there has been a lone bird which has been present for several months. The Nestle building appears to be its favoured perch. The local Kestral gets annoyed with it sometimes.
So if there is anyone out there that visits Croydon keep your eyes pealed.

Peter, on behalf of admin and all the moderators, let me offer you a warm welcome to Bird Forum.

You can creep all you like - flattery will get you everywhere!! I hope you enjoy participating in the discussions and that we can boost your interest even more. Please post any questions you may have.

Hi Pete

Glad you got here!. Did you manage to see the Grasshopper Warbler?.

Hi Alan
No didnt see it but could hear it. Spent an hour watching a Wood Warbler building its nest next to path approaching Teal hide. Thanks for introducing me to BF.
See you soon.
