Is this an immature Common Gull please? The lack of yellow bill and very clean head has thrown me, but I think the head shape and long aft wings suggest to me that it is a common gull.
its a 2nd Winter bird.Please note lack of white spots in the wingtip (normally prominent white spots in adult now)
And complete black tip to the bill is also better for an immature bird, most adult birds have a black band near the bill tip or lacking dark markings there
