Green Sandpiper? - London UK (1 Viewer)

It's true, I quite like Pigeons
United Kingdom
I only saw my first GS a few weeks ago, so they aren't a bird I'm used to. I think this is another one, but I'm not sure. I've looked at a number of images, but the bill and leg colour is putting me off a bit.

Heavy crops of a distant bird.

Thanks.

Oh, and before anyone says it; post count is not related to experience or knowledge, I'm not even a "birder".|=)|

Why would a non-birder make 600+ posts every month for 2 years ON A BIRDING WEBSITE !?!?!

With all the bold you'd think there'd been a crime committed! Maybe because they don't consider themselves a birder but like help getting to grips with the ID, or enjoy the community, or like posting their photos of birds on here. There are a whole load of reasons. Perhaps if this post was in the wrong sub forum you might have some kind of point. You don't.

If you're looking for handbags at dawn you can always join the b*tching brigade on the Slaty Backed thread. Just don't discuss anything too informative!

Edit:
P.S, yep it's a Redshank :)
