I think you lack certain basic knowledge of binoculars, especially when it comes to exit pupils, so the entire NL series is of no use.
Like me on Russia/Ukraine, except worse 🤪.
During the day the human pupil does not open more than 2.5mm-3mm. unless you are standing in the shade, in a dark forest or the sky is extremely cloudy!

An 8x20 can be just as bright as an 8x56 binocular if the transmission is identical!

There are hundreds of statements here that users notice differences between an 8x42 and a 10x32 on day zero if the transmission is identical, but you can still hold on to your belief.

That’s simply not true. On a sunny day you can’t tell the difference as long as the optics are both high quality.

As far as porros being brighter than roofs , another fallacy. There are so many factors that go into perceived brightness.
Absolute nonsence

You really are missing Andreas and others posts. Your talking about the bino exit pupil, we’re talking about the eye exit pupil under different lighting conditions, which effect perceived brightness in all binoculars.
Yes your talking about eye dilating look in dark shade you will see the difference

I don't need to learn at 59 years old or pretend to teach had optics all my life every body goes off technical data were I look and compare
I’m in the real estate industry, I meet brokers everyday that have been the business for decades and some still don’t know crap, but some still make a living. Get it?

I take it your one of them
I’m 65 and have been into optics since my 20’s. Telescopes , refractors, Dobs, cassagrains, oculars from some of the finest makers in the world, Takahashi, astrophysics, TeleVue, Borg, TMB and Zeiss to name a few. Same with oculars , spotting scopes and binoculars. I like many here have extensive collections of optics, and compare them subjectivity and objectively regularly. With my experience, I learn something new here almost every week.

I may not be an expert on optics, but I am an expert on knowing when somebody doesn’t know sht about them.
