All though these were taken in CO Durham it just goes to show you can't believe everything you read! There can't be that much difference between N. Yorkshire and Durham Moorland Just a matter of being in the right place at the right time
There's no difference mate, just North Yorkshire is the capital of cruelty of England, look at the facts.
The Northern part of the NYM is completely dead regarding SEO, you never see them up there and it does say in the new Atlas that the Pennines which is also the Durham moors, is the closest to find these birds. I even asked the chaps when was the last time and were did they see a SEO, 1 friend who was with me that morning camping was his answer, then the rest was Hebs, Scotland (East Coast) myself last time was RSPB Saltholme 2012, its not the habitat but the people living/working on the NYMNP.
