Common Swift? Hyderabad, India, today (1 Viewer)

Caught this guy taking a break outside my bedroom window. I'm assuming Common Swift, but they all look kind of the same to me, I'm ashamed to say.

Now that I look at ranges in my book, "common" doesn't seem so common. Maybe an Asian Palm Swift? My friend who is a very novice birder says he saw a pronounced V in the tail when it took flight, but I was distracted trying to get my camera in position (and still missed the in-flight shot anyway).

Boogers! I had completely overlooked the Martins. I think I had thought about the fuzzy feet on House Martins and discounted them before I even checked the book. Thanks!
