Carrying case for Swarovski scopes (2 Viewers)

I bought a Swarovski ATS 65 last month and have greatly been enjoying the experience so far. Just took it out for my first non car birding excursion yesterday, and it felt like the perfect size for a 3-mile reservoir walk. That said, I'm finding myself wishing I had some sort of carrying case, both for storage at home/in my car and for transporting. At moment, the scope is living in its box when at home, and being nestled in my backpack when I'm heading out into the field—but once it's in use, scope and tripod are staying on my shoulder. Would love to free up space in my backpack for other essentials without letting it roll around in the trunk of my car unprotected.

Nice as they look, I'm not really feeling the need to drop another $350 USD on a Swaro stay-on case (https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/673343-REG/Swarovski_49724.html). Other options I'm seeing are:
Thoughts on any of the above, or on cases in general? Am I missing other obvious options?

Any old bag that's big enough will do IMO. An old backpack, for instance. If you think you need more protection use a towel to bolster the scope in the bag.

I most certainly wouldn't pay 350 bucks for a Swaro stay-on case.

Congrats for the new scope. Although the ATS models are better protected than other brands, you are commended for thinking about a carrying case for it. I do carry the ATS80 scope over my shoulder mounted on a tripod for hikes/walks in the five miles range. I often tripp off and fall over, in which case, the protection offered by the stay-on case always proves very helpful. I struggled with whether to pay $250 (at that time), go for a lower cost after-market options, or do without. I went with the original stay-on case when the opportunity to buy it slightly cheaper came my way. The fit, protection, and ease of carrying are all factors that increase my enjoyment of using the scope. Of course, YMMV as your use might be different — but most certainly, enjoy in good health.

That may be what I do for now—if I can find one that hasn't been repurposed as a market bag, and is thus filled with dirt and farm share detritus! In my house, bags don't last long ;)

I know the little problem. Because I like things to be stylish and functional, I sew my own small transport bags - protective bags.
If you have access to a sewing machine and fabric, get some softshell fabric. Robust, dense, tear-resistant and lined with fleece. This protects the inside of the device well from damage.

Nice! Even with an hawk on it. :)
Can I order one?

Can I order one?
Thanks for the flowers :) Order? I'm not a professional but I can do unwinding and sewing (learned from a woman). It's a lot of work for me. Certainly not for a sewer :) When I have some time and peace, I'll make another one. What color? green, blue, black? And for which device? KOWA is no longer here, but can make ATC bags.
The hawk in steel rust, silver, gold, platinum, diamond or small 0.2mm Swarovski stones? :)
I only have silver ones at the moment. The inside of the hawk is glued and covered with leather to prevent scratches on the spotting scope.

I've just bought one without a case and although I don't really need it, I'll probably just cough up for the Swarovski case and be done with. I agree it's stupidly expensive, but for me it's a scope for life.

Thanks for the flowers? The sentence the pope always said: bedankt voor de bloemen? ;)

The bag looks really stylish! If it is that much work, please forget it. You probably have better things to do.
The one you have looks ok to me. Is it "swaro" green? Where did you get the hawk from? It looks like an original Swarovski hawk.

I also have the ATC 56. Please let me know what it will cost (you can PM me) and I might be interested :).

I took a photo of the Swarovski and put the fabric next to it and tried to match the color with the controls. A lot of work doesn't mean I don't enjoy it. I've received a lot from others, at no cost, so why should I capitalize on it? No, if I can help, then gladly. Shipping and materials, then it should be good.
The falcon is an original, they are pins that Swarovski gives customers when they have bought the tenth product. I have five pins and one goes on your bag. That means I have to buy ten more optics. How am I supposed to explain that to my wife? :)

Really? One pin for every tenth product? And you have five pins? Or that you give you 5 pins at once?
I think I have bought (and sold) 10 different Swarovski items (not all new), but have never heard about those pins...

It is very kind of you! Please PM me if I have to pay something in advance.
