To quote from item 2 of the terms and conditions....
"The promotion runs in Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Poland. To be able to claim the cashback, the products must be purchased in one of these countries and you have to be a consumer of an EEA country (i.e. the EU, Norway, Iceland or Liechtenstein) or Switzerland......"
I'm not clear on the interpretation of these words. If I am sitting in the UK and press the "Buy Now" button on the
www.ebay.co.uk website for an item located in Hong Kong and sold by a dealer registered in Hong Kong does that mean that "I have bought the product in the UK" since that is where I was when I made the purchase, even though the product was not in the UK when I bought it?
I think there is some ambiguity in the wording and interpretation thereof. But I am not a lawyer.
