Birding by Oddie (1 Viewer)

A few years ago Bill Oddie did a great set of programmes each one focusing on a different area in Europe (plus one in Israel) - I think it was called 'Birding'! Does anyone know if it's available on DVD? I've tried in the usual places but with no luck; I remember it as a most entertaining series and would love to see it again.

This was an entertaining programme, and three series were broadcast on the BBC. For some strange reason they (as far as I know) have never been available on DVD. I'm very surprised as I'd have thought there would have been a market for this, especially as the RSPB has many members for a start. When I see some of the dross that does get released, it almost makes me weep! The programme content can be viewed here:

I do agree some of the viewing content on tv now days is exceptionally poor, i myself did not have the luck to see these 3 series of bill oddie and i wish i had seen them, would the bbc have the rights to stop such dvds going on the market i ask this has from what i heard bill was not on everybodys gift list in the higher echelons of tv and could not see eye to eye with them, if he had again from what i heard issues them aside he was worth his salt on tv and for me i miss him there unless he has another slot in springwatch etc.
