BIRDFAIR 2010 - Egleton Nature Reserve, Rutland (1 Viewer)

Thanks a lot Marmot hehehe it is easy to follow with your map and hope I can get there to see some waders and etc :)

Glad to be of service, dont forget you can print those directions off before you come. Or if there is anywhere in the UK just put your start and finish points in...we never know you may end up in my garden hehe! :-O

Kekekeke that's better so I can concentrate getting closer and good shots of birds in your garden :king:

Di Stone has suggested anyone who would like to meet up, to meet up in the main catering marquee at 12.30pm on the Saturday. http://www.birdforum.net/showthread.php?p=1902948#post1902948 This could be for Friday and Sunday also.

Friday: I will be lunching with Simon!!!!

Saturday: I won't be going to catering marquee until Simon King has finished his lecture at 1pm!!!! So will see some of you just after 1pm - I am guessing BF Steve and Andy Bright will be in marquee area, so if we look for them to meet up - they are both VERY tall!!!

.

Horokuru,

Frampton Marsh on the Wash is much nearer and is rapidly becoming known as the Lincolnshire "Titchwell". If its at Titchwell it will most probably be at Frampton Marsh RSPB reserve also.:-O

Sounding good Penny (with simon too).

Dave and I will be at the allocated Marquee on Saturday 12.30pm as mentioned

Looking forward to saying hello to everyone!

Regards
Kathy and Dave

There will be a few of the lads from Staffordshire coming on Sunday, hope to catch up with some of you then. Neil.

Hiya,

I;ll be there all weekend helping my friend Jo out on her Wildaboutnature/Asian adventures stand. I believe we're in the travel marquee. Hope to see some of you there. I'll come and look for you in the catering marquee providing it doesn't clash with any lectures I want to go to :)

This is me:

So hopefully some people will recognised me :)

All the best

Jo

Hahaha I'm here now at Kettering staying at Hampton By Hilton hotel. Saw nearly 10 new birds on the way from the airport to the hotel :king:

Off to walk around here in the morning before to Rutland to check the booth in the afternoon ;)

By the way, your Wood Pigeon here really big o:D

And really annoying! They're just everywhere!

Just to confirm I'll be there Friday with brother Paul (well he does sort of look like a monk LOL :-O ) and we're bringing Tom (tracker). Look for us around the catering marquee sort of between 12:30-1:00ish.

Looks like we may just escape the rain tomoz but the damage may already be done by tonight so pack your wellies everyone! ;)
