Bird photography and the law (1 Viewer)

I took a shot of a Dartford from a well-used footpath using a digiscope at ~ 40 yards last June. There were paths closer to the birds, but I didn't want to disturb them.
However, people regularly let their dogs on the loose in the heather and the army often dig in and do a lot of shooting in the heath. None of this seems to affect the breeding as there's tons of them on that site and seems to be more this year than last.
Not fair that I'd be the one in trouble...
