What is the difference between these two prism types?

Reason I am asking is because
I am looking at these two spotting scopes
Bak4 Prism

Porro prism
http://www.barska.com/Naturescape_ED_Spotter-20-60x80_WP_Naturescape_ED_Glass_Spotting_Scope.html

Now with that said it would seem in a way I answering my own question based on the comparison to me the
celestron would have bigger reach, let more light in so the image theologically should be sharper and if I wanted to mount my DSLR or
my point & shoot I should be able to using the T-Ring adapter for dslr or the clap on harness for point and shoot.

Now with the barska I am not sure if looking at the specs if they are up to part besides the focal distance difference which is obvious.
what else would be the difference both of them are ED or is the celestron that much better?

Also I do not mind the straight view because using my dslr now with the 500mm and even with the teleconverter mounted it's very
easy to use so I am used to it however how much harder is it to mount the dslr to a straight scope?

Which one of these would you take? I could use saving a Little $$$ but if the celestron is that much better then I would take that im
like torn between the two weighing it in my thought.

Bak4 makes reference to type of GLASS composition used in the Prism..generally speaking Bak4 is the tipe industry likes to advertise using, because is widely accepted to be have better light transmission than other types of glass, providing the size of the prism is equal...probalby both the scopes you are asking about use the same glass material, more likely both using Bak4..The type of prism is the last of the considerations you need to weight while trying to decide what scope to buy..
I would be more interested in knowing if the eyepiece in the scopes is fixed,or if it can be removed and interchanged...,And if it can, what is the range of available eyepieces to choose from..In that sense the Celestron has a great advantage ,using ASTRONOMY eyepieces, that can be found in all sizes and prices ..not sure if the Barska offers any extra eyepiece or if even has a dettachable eyepiece...That in itself would make the extra price to be worth..The other reason that the celestron is more expensive is because the model you chosed,,Is the 100mm aperture, and the barska only 80mm..The celestron regal also offers a 80 mm model, and price is about the same as the barska

Hi

The Celestron is a very good scope, the DSLR mounts with the use of the correct T-ring for your camera. Point and Shoots cameras you want to stay under 4x optical zoom, also you may need a universal camera adapter if your camera does not have threads in the lens.
