Backwater Birding - Seaton, Devon (2 Viewers)

Hello Birders,
Rodgers Comments, at the top of the Page were Quite Right,
The Back Water Thread was amazing,
There we were Posting Chatting, Pics Galore so much info.
And then Nothing,
And then the Blower comes into Action,
Weve no info wheres the rare?
Anyway Birders there were Loads of Interested folk at the Meeting at Colyford Hall,
As Steve is Know, we Think the Devon recorder, a monthly Bird Meeting if possible of our Birds & Pics of our Local Patch we Think Would be Great, for Us All.

Hello Birders,
A Wonderful day here in Whitford, 25+ Swifts, With the hot wheather you would think they Would come early, Spot on Time,
Then a Massive Raptor gliding towards me, Quite high up.
Its a Honey Buzzard,
Heres a Pic, Not much time to take it,
Delighted for Any Image,
Hope Its recorded, It Was Amazing,

Hi Simon and sue. Your honey buzzard looks to be a marsh harrier. Not the all dark colour and the raised wings plus long tail. It's also about 10 days too early

A Hobby over Today our first of the Year,
Theres one Thing for sure, not Many Birders can Tick a Marsh Harrier on there Garden List,

I was on my way down to Woolacombe on Saturday on the Barnstable by pass at about 14:00 when I spotted a white Stork flying over being mobbed by some gulls. There was some info about it on the the Devon birding blog site but its pretty hard to navigate there!

Hello All,
We Bring great info to our Local Patch, & were Sure our local Birders will be interested,
Weve being in Whitford 4 years, Corvid hill great views from the top of our Garden, its just starting to get going and Numbers will grow As Steve wiil know,
Tonight was Amazing, 15+ Ravens Over Corvid Hill and Landing,
Have we Got a Raven Roost on Patch,
We will keep you informed, or call over to See.
