Are there any FREE DVD cover creators ? (1 Viewer)

I'm putting lots of slideshows together now using jpeg images on a DVD or CD and I was wondering if there were any FREE DVD cover creators to download.
I do all my burning with Roxio 'Basic edition' and it has a CD cover creator but not a DVD cover creator, I need to upgrade for that feature.
I was hoping there was a program that had blank templates at the right size where I can input text and images on the cover and more importantly vertically on the spine.
I've done a 'Google' search but not had much luck.
I was wondering if any members used such a program ?

I hope I am not being silly but aren't DVDs the same size as CDS, therefore your existing software should be OK I would have thought.

I believe he's talking about the cases, not the actual DVD.
I make covers using Quark Express, but you should also be able to do the same in Photoshop. Just measure a cover and draw up your own template.
Also, have you tried Roxio's web site ... perhaps they have updated software which includes the DVD cover?
cheers,
jim

Try Deepburner its FREE to download..its mainly for backing up urCD/DVD's but it does have a handy tool for making DVD/CD covers...

Thanks for all the replies again, I've tried to download an update for my Roxio program but it says there aren't any available.
I've downloaded a prog off the 'Freedownloadcentre' site, I'll give that a go.

Cheers

Daft innit, until this thread came along I thought the covers where the same size as CDs, the discs are, but having had a look in Tescos and sure enough they are different.
Good luck with your download.

Mick
