I don't live in your area, but would think that the place to start would be the local Audubon Society chapter.

PGH birder here. I find the SWPA FB group to be active and helpful.
I keep meaning to join 3 Rivers Birding, but I keep forgetting to print the paper form and mail it in! 😅
Anyhow, hope you’ve had a good year of birding!
