After Kite Lynx 8x30 : Swarovski Pure NL 8x32 or 10x32? (6 Viewers)

Hi to all,

Long time reader but first time poster…

I turned 60 last week and my wife offered me to gift me with a new pair of binoculars.

I have a few pairs but my main binoculars is a Kite Lynx 8x30

I stopped my choice on the Swaro Pure NL 32 but I'm still hesitating between 8x and 10x.

For those of you who tried or have the forehead rest, does it help to stabilize the image a lot?

I read about the glare problem of the Swaro but coming from the Kite, I guess it shouldn’t be a problem for me since I didn’t had a problem with the Kite which have the reputation to have the same problem…

I think the difference might be whether you are more intrigued by what you can see (8X) or whether you will be obsessing over what you might be able to see if you had 10X.

It might not turn out to be as big a difference as you seem to think it is.
