Thanks. Camera is usually round my neck when I'm out birding, unless I'm purely in 'travel' mode, or passing through areas with lots of houses, just in case of surprises. Have missed out on what would've been (potentially) really good pics by having camera tucked away in backpack more than once previously. Also I was waiting to photograph a helicopter anyway.
