Allbinos is a credible reviewer? (is he here)?
Do we know how long the $442 price drop (to $2,459) lasts at B&H, MidWay and others?
Thanks!

I wonder if Swarovski is lowering their prices all over on the NL. The NL 8x32 is even $500 lower at Amazon.com. Maybe due to slow sales. Here they are with about $200 worth of accessories for $2500.

I never read any of quoted reviews. In my hands the NL8x32 renders pleasurable viewing. Use of the forehead rest is functional for repetitive eye placement with the ocular cups screwed in. All accessories complement. The NL is not for everyone, in fact, most would be users develop many reasons to complain, and would do well to not try the product in the first place. There are so many excellent other products on the market, why complain? The NL format happens to work well with my low protuberant brow and unsightly proboscis and I can only say the excellent optics are well served within the NL haptic.

A need for a forehead rest on an 8x32 binocular, I think you are something. Wow.

Yes Jerry, it is a preference. The forehead rest is not additional stability. It is the one point resting on my head. No eyeglasses. No ocular cups resting in eye socket.
Amen. I noted several overlooked advantages of using the NL forehead rest using 8x42's -- including the exact manner you described -- in BF Swaro posts 8 months ago.

A quirky advantage of using the NL Forehead Rest in horrid light conditions 10/23/23.

More problem-solving magic when using the NL Forehead Rest (10/28/23)
