    A very dark, wet day at Titchwell in Norfolk with the wind coming straight off the north sea. This single bird was foraging in the lagoon.

    These Godwits are such striking birds. The ochre-buff colour on the breast and the pink at the base of the bill in summer make the bird even more stunning.
