    The only time I've ever heard a Mute Swan making vocal sounds - a sort of muffled shriek. It didn't spot me and my camera until it was only a few metres away and was desparate to warn it's mate I think.

    Had a great time on Landsort despite some thick fog at times. Saw a lot of birds, including some unusual ones, and took a lot of photographs and now I'm going to take it easy for a couple of days - maybe. :-) I'll probably post a few more from this series.
