    Musk Lorikeet I came across these birds by accident today. They are panting desperately in midday heat so intense that today railway lines here buckled, preventing some trains from running. Around the trunk of each tree in a small grove of introduced pine trees Rainbow and Musk Lorikeets...

    And clearly this 'leucistic' Rainbow Lorikeet has found a 'normal' mate.. So far thi info I've obtained suggests this bird IS Leucistic, Flavistic, or Dilute! Related to Albinoism! Affecting the Red and Yellow! If so their progeny will inherit the gene! A

    Never before have I seen a LimeGreen Lorikeet!! The saphire parts are Amythist, the orange Electric, even it's feet are an odd colour!! Does anyone know whats going on??? A
