    super light on these birds at the weekend, Mistley is an amazing place for a variety of birds but standing on the shore waiting for the tide to push the birds within 10 mtrs of you is an excellent use of ones time

    Always a good number of Black-tailed Godwits on the Stour at Mistley, get there 3 hours before high tide and enjoy, recommend that you pick a tide that is between 3 - 5pm as the light is best in the afternoon

    Not manipulated this shot but I found it to be a "what if" The Blackwit is flying through, its not just taken off and from my perspective the Brent looks like it make be about to have a very close encounter with the sharp end of a Blackwit.... I do have the previous and next frames...

    Popped over to Mistley as the lens is back from Sigma to give it a go and to see if a specific ringed bird was back for the 11th year from Iceland, didn't find the one I wanted but the numbers are now increasing with about 300 there on Sunday morning
