A Single Wild Jalapeño
I misplaced my bird book and am therefore uncertain of what species this is. I'm about 80% sure it's an Anna's. This little one was hanging around an area with lots of hummingbird-friendly flowers, possibly patrolling, and perched here for a couple of minutes. Which gave me plenty of time to...- Tired

Hummingbird ID Los Angeles, CA
March 11 Los Angeles, CA My cousin finally got a picture of the tail feathers of a hummingbird and I need confirmation on whether it is rufous or Allen’s. It is not the best picture but I believe the feathers can be seen clearly enough. Any help would be appreciated.- Gatheredeagle
