    A Northern Flicker landed in the tree I was observing, and one Hell of a racket ensued. I couldn't tell exactly what was happening, but I clicked off several quick shots. Imagine my surprise to see a large Rat Snake arguing with the Flicker.

    This is about the best garden bird I have. Still on my trip, got a few beautiful butterflies, but not much of a bird.
