Double-crested Cormorant
We have a little pond in our town as part of a golf course and, every winter, we get a small population of Cormorants as well as Canada Geese and duck hybrids. Mostly they just perch on our light poles but occasionally, they go for a flight like this.- Dwooddon

This cormorant was perched high up in a tree on the opposite bank of the river. As I couldn't be bothered carrying a tripod or even a monopod while going for a long walk ,( a camera in the rucksack being quite enough for me),I just hoped for the best when taking a few shots of that bird.- Joelle-Marcelle

Back to Copenhagen, and I'll try not to interrupt myself again. The next northernmost of Serne (The Lakes) has an island with several trees. The trees are a nesting spot for dozens of cormorants, and there must be fish in the lakes since, although most of the cormies were napping in the trees...- Doc Duck

Spotted this trio, sunbathing on some driftwood at the 7th pond at Hyper humus. They were very close to the ring-billed in my previous posting.
