I'm trying to find out the estimated common buzzard Buteo buteo populations in the UK in the 1700s and 1800s, for some coursework I'm doing. Buzzard Dolomites/Alps Lake Garda, July 26th 2021
A fortnight ago I saw this distant Buzzard soaring. It was above the little town of Stenico (last part of the Brenta massif sloping down to Lake Garda). In all probability it's a Common Buzzard. A Buzzard soaring high over North Norfolk. It looks like it may have some wing and tail feather damage (I took several shots and the feathers looked the same in all of them so not just this angle) unless it is moulting but with snow currently on the ground a moult would perhaps seem like bad...- nbroadsman

Buzzard ID?
