    Finally I managed to get a photo of one, well two I suppose! Three of them in good view this morning though there may have been others better hidden. Not the easiest of birds to get a photo of due to the thickets they roost in.

    There were 4 of them but I only saw 2 on the 7th, went back on the 8th and got a slightly better picture. Well camoflaged though!

    Perched in the open this afternoon this usually very secretive Owl was most cooperative!! Seen on the Parker River NWR, Newburyport, MA. Photographed with a Nikon Coolpix 995 attached to a Leica Televid scope, 20x eyepiece.
