Lots of meadow pipits on the hills above Penrhyncoch. Most of them too far away, too high up, hidden by hedgerows ... But two of them perched on fenceposts aaaalmost within camera range. I think this is the sharpest I got, but I'll take a closer look later.- Doc Duck

A passing hiker pointed out this bird to me just as it left one perch. I re-spotted it atop the bracken, still fairly close. Though it had its back to us it did turn its head from side to side and I managed to time a couple of shots to catch a bit of profile. This one was quite sharp in full...- Doc Duck
