    Thanks for that Dan, now you have said it is so easy to see that's what they are...actually I included the Willow Warbler picture by mistake it was the Nuthatch which had us scratching our heads, there was two of them above our heads making an almighty din.     Identifying a wader

    This picture was taken at Wells next the Sea, North Norfolk, England. Feb 14th 2012. Being relatively new to birdwatching waders are the bain of my life. I'm sure this is a very common little wader, but which one??? I think it would be about 15cm.

    We ended up with a Canon 600D and a Canon EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III USM We didn't do too badly on price just over our buget at £1100. Very pleased with the results so far. Thanks for all your comments

    With a £1000 to spend any suggestions for a camera? We only take photos for our own records, but would like to take good quality snaps. Previously we have digiscoped with an element of success, but birds inflight are a challenge and the quality is lacking. Any help very welcome.

    We digiscoped this bird near a freshwater lagoon on scrub land about 800m from the beach on the coast 5 miles west of Cardiff. Photo taken 30/8/2010. Although relatively new to bird watching I feel ashamed to say I can't identify this bird, can anyone help?o:)
