Overview
Yoho National Park is located in the Canadian Rockies, in British Columbia. It has beautiful scenery, lakes, waterfalls and 28 peaks over 3,000 metres in height, as well as being the home of the Burgess Shale, famous for its well preserved Cambrian age fossils.

History and Use
The park was founded in 1886 and is now part of the Canadian Rocky Mountain Parks UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is 1310 sq.km. (507 sq.mi.) in size

Access and Facilities
Yoho National Park is open year round. The Visitor Centre is open daily, except for Christmas Day, and times vary according to the season. Please check the times on their website.
Fees (Canadian $):
- Adult ~ $9.80; Senior ~ $8.30; Youth ~ $4.90; Family/Group ~ $19.60; entry is free with an Annual Discovery Pass (includes entry to 27 National Parks and 77 National Historic Sites)
