Identification

Grey brown, white throat and spot on forehead, bright yellow underparts, white-tipped tail, red eye.

Distribution

Australia.

Taxonomy

Habitat

Open eucalypt woodlands and forests and in vegetation along watercourses.

Behaviour

The diet includes insects and other arthropods.

It builds an oval or pear shaped nest of bark bound with spiders' silk, which is hung in the outer foliage of trees.
