- Veniliornis spilogaster
Identification
Spotted on the breast, upperparts and belly have a more barred appearance. The male has narrow dark red streaks on the crown which are missing on the female.
Distribution
Southeast Brazil, south-east Paraguay, northwest Argentina and Uruguay.
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
Habitat
Forest and forest edges.
