Identification
Distribution
South America: found in eastern Paraguay to south-eastern Brazil, Uruguay and north-eastern Argentina.
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
Formerly placed in genus Basileuterus.
Habitat
Montane Atlantic rainforest, moist shrubland.
Behaviour
Often seen foraging in mixed flocks.
