Pithys castaneus

Identification

Distribution

Endemic to Peru.

Taxonomy

This is a monotypic species. The scientific name has in the past been (erroneously) spelled Pithys castanea.

Habitat

Moist lowland forests.

Behaviour

The diet includes ants.
