Identification

Distribution

Bolivia, Brazil, and Peru.

Taxonomy

Two subspecies recognized:

  • H. g. griseipectus in southeast Peru, northern Bolivia and central Amazonian Brazil
  • H. g. naumburgae in northeast Brazil

The subspecies naumburgae was formerly classified as subspecies of White-eyed Tody-Tyrant.

Habitat

Moist lowland forests.
