The Upload File option is on the right hand side in the Tools Section. This will save a copy of the picture in what is easiest described as the Opus Filing Cabinet, it needs to be there so the Opus software can find it.
It is easiest if you save a copy of your picture on your desk top and upload from there. When you click on Upload File, you go to another screen, where you browse for your image. When it has uploaded a thumbnail of the picture will show.
Put a few details in on that screen in the Summary box, as to what / where / when etc. Also, if possible, put the URL linking to the whereabouts of the original image (this could be the Birdforum Gallery, a post in a thread, or your own Website).
Then on the actual article paste this coding in:
[[File:FILENAME.JPG|thumb|550px|right|MALE/FEMALE/SUBSPECIES ETC
Photo © by {{user|FIRSTNAME+MIDDLEINITIAL+SURNAME|FULL NAME(OR USERNAME}}
LOCATION and DATE]]
The 550px is used for the first image on the page, if it's an additional image, then change it to 350px.
If it is the first image on the article, please delete the Missing Images category at the bottom.
