Identification

Tanimbar Islands (Larat, Yamdena); Kai Islands (Kai Kecil, Kai Besar), in Indonesia

This is a monotypic species^[1].

Buru Friarbird and Tanimbar Friarbird were previously together as one species named Black-faced Friarbird.
