Distribution
Endemic to central Taiwan.

This is a monotypic species[1].
Habitat
Montane forests.
Behaviour
Diet
The diet includes seeds, fruits, insects and other animal matter.
Breeding
The 2-6 eggs are incubated for 25-28 days. The young can leave the nest from 2-3 days.
